I don't hear anyone saying anything about this man...They made a big deal out of Tookie why not this man? This man even said he was sorry? Did he deserve to die? IMO if you do the crime you must pay for in the way decided on you by the courts...But why no big show like what happened out in California?

"Tookie" got so much publicity because of all the famous stars trying to back him up. IMO he is as guilty as this man is here. Like someone said before in a post just because you are sorry for the crime doesn't give life back to the person you killed. It is good if someone repents and changes their life around but still you should pay for your crime.

in the Bible it talks about we commit sins every day and we will have to answer for them when we go to Heaven...but it also says what....if we repent and give up that life then the Lord shall forgive us and our slate be wiped clean...it's a common argument for conservatives... would God support abortion? well, would God support the death penalty?

Yes if we repent unto God of our sins then he says in his word that he will forgive us. But he also says that we reap what we sow, even after we repent we still reap. No god does not support abortion. As far as the death penalty goes God says to obey the "Law of the land". So what do you think that means? When Jesus was questioned if he would give unto Ceaser he answered and said "Give unto Ceaser what belongs to him and unto God what belongs to God." This is a world run by Governments we have to obey the laws or pay the consequence's of our actions. Even in Jesus's days on the earth there was the death penalty by being stoned to death and being crucified. That was the law of the land.
